The Agency was present on Tuesday, May 9th at the launch event of the CEC – Convention of Companies for Climate in Bourgogne-Franche-Comté.

Convention of Companies for Climate (CEC) in Bourgogne-Franche-Comté

The Convention of Companies for Climate brings together 50 business leaders and 10 public institutions in a partnership aimed at creating a network to promote the ecological transition. The long-term objective is to move away from the current extractive business model and adopt a regenerative model that generates positive net impacts and regenerates biodiversity. By joining this convention, members commit to taking concrete action in favor of the environment and to working together to accelerate the ecological transition in Bourgogne-Franche-Comté. The CEC in Bourgogne-Franche-Comté is a concrete example of collaboration between companies and public actors to build a more sustainable future.

Missions of the CEC

Giving economic leaders the scientific and human keys to measure the ecological challenge: this is the mission of the CEC, both in its first national edition and in its territorial programs. The CEC programs combine ambition – because the challenge is major, radicalism – demanded by the level of the issues, and enthusiasm – which is the engine of entrepreneurial action. With economic leaders who commit to the CEC, we want to make the transition to a sustainable and desirable society and economy irresistible.
