The Burgundy-Franche-Comté region launches an ambitious initiative to boost its residential attractiveness, aiming to retain its inhabitants while attracting new ones. This approach, supported by a collective commitment of 26 intercommunalities and three departments, is now entering a crucial phase of implementation.
A Boost for Residential Attractiveness
Patrick AYACHE, Vice-President in charge of human resources, tourism, the attractiveness of the region, and the promotion of its territories, emphasized the importance of combating demographic decline by attracting new families and retaining current populations. The region and its willing territories are working hand in hand to design a welcoming engineering suited for future residents. Aurore THIBAUD, Co-Founder of Laou.fr, presented the targets and key steps of this approach aimed at reaching new residents, marking the beginning of a detailed family prospecting strategy.
Mobilization of Territories and Partners
Under the leadership of Fabien BENTAYEB, Attractiveness Project Manager, this initiative brings together the forces of 26 intercommunalities and three departments, ready to start preparing prospecting campaigns. The State in the region, represented by Florence BERNARD, the AER BFC, and the Burgundy-Franche-Comté Regional Tourism Committee, have played a decisive role in strengthening the region’s attractiveness, addressing various economic, tourist, and residential aspects.
The Web Platform: An Attraction Tool
The creation of a future website was unveiled, designed to captivate and convince new inhabitants of the assets of Burgundy-Franche-Comté, from its natural beauty to its economic opportunities. The territories will play an essential role in welcoming and supporting newcomers, ensuring support by dedicated referents to facilitate their integration.
Towards a More Welcoming and Dynamic Burgundy-Franche-Comté
Burgundy-Franche-Comté embarks on a proactive approach to enhance its residential attractiveness by developing a strategy that closely associates territories, institutional partners, and future inhabitants. Thanks to this collective initiative, the region aspires to build a future where it becomes a choice place to live, work, and thrive. Together, let’s shape a region where hospitality, innovation, and quality of life go hand in hand, thus attracting a new wave of residents ready to engage in Burgundian and Franche-Comté life.
