Journées du Levage 2024: regional hydrogen at the heart of discussions

From September 25 to 27, 2024, the Lift Days took place at the Palais des Congrès in Beaune, bringing together key players in lifting, transport, and handling. AER BFC highlighted the hydrogen sector of Bourgogne-Franche-Comté at booth H6, in partnership with France Hydrogène, and showcased the future of this key technology for the energy transition.

Hydrogen in Bourgogne-Franche-Comté: from production to applications

The Lift Days allowed AER BFC to promote the hydrogen value chain in Bourgogne-Franche-Comté. During a presentation at 12:30 p.m., visitors had the opportunity to engage over a cocktail at booth H6 and ask their questions to Nathalie Loch, a hydrogen expert. The presentation highlighted the many regional skills and expertise, from hydrogen production to various industrial and mobility applications.

Presentations and discussions on the future of hydrogen

Nathalie Loch, Hydrogen Project Manager at AER BFC, was also invited to the TV platform of the Lift Days to discuss the topic: “Where are we with hydrogen?” This presentation addressed the challenges and prospects related to this technology. In addition, the presentation to the students of AFTRAL highlighted the opportunities of hydrogen in the lifting industry and its strategic role in the energy transition.
