Job Description

The Regional Economic Agency (AER BFC) targets two main audiences: companies (primarily industrial, industrial services, and start-ups) and territories.
Integrated into the Economic Development and Prospecting Division of AER BFC, your mission will be:

  • To support the Prospecting Manager in all their missions
  • To assist, prepare and participate in national and international prospecting missions in various forms: trade shows, missions, delegation welcomes, partnerships, etc.
  • To manage the relationship with Business France, primarily within the framework of COSPE (Project Orientation Committee)
  • To manage tools for tracking prospect contacts in coordination with Project Managers/Local Developers of the Economic Development Division

This position is a great opportunity for anyone motivated and wishing to play a key role in the region’s economic development through prospecting.
You will join a dynamic and committed team of 17 people within a human-sized agency, well-known and recognized in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region.

Main Responsibilities

  • Analysis, implementation, and management of physical and digital prospecting actions:
    • Identification of contacts prior to missions using digital tools and web marketing
    • Organizing appointments for prospecting missions for oneself or for the Project Managers
    • Promoting real estate offers, business areas, and the regional ecosystem
    • Supporting the creation and updates of territory and sector promotion materials
    • Supporting the organization of trade shows and/or attending national and international events with the Communication and Attractiveness Division
    • Organizing the visit of foreign delegations to the region
  • Business France: Collaboration on monitoring COSPE and prospect projects in coordination with the internal team
    • Ensure proper receipt of offers by Business France offices
    • Follow-up with Business France offices and prospects, sending sectoral presentations in coordination with the Economic Development team
    • Ensure reporting tools are properly updated, particularly in AER BFC’s CRM
    • Contribute to the assessment of FDI (foreign direct investment) in the region in collaboration with the Economic and Territorial Intelligence Division
  • Relationship with EPCIs: managing their participation in trade shows, distributing projects with the internal team, supporting their prospecting strategy
  • Travel in France and abroad

Skills

  • Knowledge of the regional economic environment and the stakeholders/partners
  • Proven experience in national and international prospecting
  • Project management and leadership skills
  • Fluency in English
  • Proficiency in IT and office tools

Education/Experience

  • General education Bac+2 with solid experience or Bac+5
  • International experience
