The 7th edition of the Choose France Summit was recently held in Versailles, marking a new phase in enhancing the economic attractiveness of France. With the participation of the President of the Republic and over 180 CEOs, this event highlighted major investment projects and significant innovations on a national scale.
Investments in Burgundy-Franche-Comté

IVECO
The Italian manufacturer IVECO announced a substantial investment of over 112 million euros for the year 2024. These funds will primarily be used to increase the production capacities of electric and hydrogen buses at its factories in Annonay and Rorthais, as well as to enhance the efficiency of the value chain. A flagship project will also be implemented in Bourbon-Lancy where the new multi-fuel Cursor 13 engine will be developed and produced, highlighting IVECO’s commitment to sustainable mobility.
SKF Group
SKF Group, a Swedish industry leader, continues to invest heavily in France, particularly in its aerospace activities. With an investment plan spanning from 2024 to 2026, SKF aims to enhance its production capacities and decarbonize its sites. These initiatives are part of a long-term growth strategy and the development of its research and development activities on French soil.
