The Bourgogne-Franche-Comté Region, “Hydrogen Territory”
Dijon Métropole is leading a €100 million hydrogen project that is about to enter its operational phase. The North Station – PHASE 1 is expected to be inaugurated this year. The future hydrogen production and distribution unit in Dijon Métropole aims to use electricity produced from waste combustion. This green energy will power the electrolyzer that separates water into hydrogen. To carry out this project, Dijon Métropole has partnered with the IntHy group to develop a comprehensive production system, creating the joint venture Dijon Métropole Smart Energhy (DMSE) and collaborating with all regional hydrogen ecosystem stakeholders.
