Industrial Acceleration in Bourgogne-Franche-Comté: towards a new era of innovation and sustainable development

In the context of a national ambition to promote a sovereign and decarbonized industry, Burgundy-Franche-Comté positions itself at the forefront with the renewal of 10 Industry Territories. These territories are entering a crucial phase of ecological transition, innovation, and skills development, supported by close collaboration between economic development experts and regional actors.
A national vision, local action
The recent speed-meeting initiative marked a turning point for the 10 renewed Industry Territories in Burgundy-Franche-Comté. Mentioned by Mr. Prefect, Franck ROBINE, this approach underlines the regional commitment to:
- Accelerating the ecological and energy transition,
- Transforming territories into ambitious innovation ecosystems,
- Overcoming recruitment obstacles and developing skills in attractive industrial areas.
Strategic collaboration for economic development
The territories had the opportunity to meet key partners during 52 appointments, fostering productive exchanges with actors such as AER BFC, ADEME, ANCTerritoires, and many others. This interaction provided concrete answers and valuable contacts to facilitate development projects.
The 10 key themes for action
Nicolas SORET, Vice-President in charge of finance, economic development, employment, and the Social and Solidarity Economy at the Burgundy-Franche-Comté Region, highlighted the 10 essential themes to realize the action plans of the Industry Territories, ranging from knowledge of economic land and property to the digital transformation of companies, through the development of circular economy projects and support for decarbonization.
AER BFC’s commitment to an innovative and sustainable future
Under the leadership of Jean-Claude LAGRANGE, President of AER BFC, and Arnaud MARTHEY, Vice-President, several themes were addressed to stimulate innovation and sustainability. The focus was on topics such as the circular economy, decarbonization, and the structuring of sectors, illustrating the region’s commitment to a greener and more competitive industry.
