Job Description
The Regional Economic Agency (AER BFC) serves two main audiences: businesses and local territories.
As part of the Economic and Territorial Intelligence Division, your mission will be to support the economic development and employment growth in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region by deepening the understanding of territorial dynamics and assisting local stakeholders.
Missions
- Contributing to the production, analysis, and monitoring of localized economic data
- Participating in the development of territorial projects and conducting socio-economic diagnostics
- Designing analysis and facilitation tools and applying them in the field
- Managing projects and leading working groups
- Office-based work with travel throughout the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region
Skills
- Territorial development
- Socio-economic studies
- Familiarity with the missions of local authorities
- Processing numerical data
- Document analysis, report writing, oral presentations, and simplification of complex information
- Understanding of macro- and microeconomic dynamics and processes (preferred)
- Knowledge of urban planning and regulatory documents (preferred)
- Basic understanding of economic development (preferred)
- Spatial analysis and geographic information processing (preferred)
- Tools:
Advanced Excel: required
Other Microsoft Office applications: required
Knowledge and experience with GIS tools: preferred
Profile
Master’s degree (Master 2) in local development, territorial development engineering, regional economics, or territorial management
Or: experience working in a local authority, consulting firm, or in the field of regional economic development
