The Gray company JG Aviation continues its development, supported by AER BFC
JG Aviation signed an agreement with Swiss aircraft manufacturer Platus in 2018. The regional firm is to become the European Maintenance Centre for P12 and PC24 business aircraft.
This achievement is the result of successful cooperation between the regional aeronautical maintenance firm and Haute-Saône Council. In order to accommodate the new aircraft, the Gray-based firm has invested more than €3 million in developing its building. The department council, being aware of the opportunity for both the firm and for the area, is financing the 300 m extension to the runway at the Saint Adrien aerodrome, to take it to 1100 m.
The Regional Council is also participating in this joint area-firm project. With support from AER BFC, the firm secured an aid package from Bourgogne-Franche-Comté for the development of its maintenance workshop.
We shall be able to discover JG Aviation’s new site next June.

The Bourgogne-Franche-Comté Regional Economic Agency is continuing its work supporting firms in the aeronautics industry. It will be at the Friedrichshafen show next April alongside regional firms such as Iaero and Robin Aircraft.
