We’re delighted to announce the arrival of three new members of staff at AER BFC!
Aurélien Bruel has joined the Energy Transition and Sustainable Economy division as eco-design project manager.
After graduating with a PhD in environmental and sustainability engineering in 2016, Aurélien began his career in public organisations such as ADEME. He then went on to work in consultancy as a Circular Economy R&D Project Manager in the aeronautics sector. Today, he is pursuing his career in the field of the circular economy, and more specifically in the eco-design pillar, working with companies on practical projects.
At AER BFC, Aurélien will be helping companies in the region with their eco-design projects. His duties will include leading initiatives to promote eco-design within the regional economic fabric and participating in the regional network for ecological and economic transition (RT2E). These are essential actions to strengthen the ecological transition in Burgundy-Franche-Comté!
A passion? Aurélien is passionate about backpacking, which has led him to discover different countries around the world by bike, rucksack, train or van.
Sofia Bekrar has joined the Economic and Territorial Intelligence Unit as a Territorial Socio-Economic Studies Officer.
With 12 years’ experience at AUDAB (Besançon Urban Planning Agency), Sofia has been involved in setting up multi-theme observatories covering different territorial scales. It has also carried out thematic studies to support regional projects.
Within the AER BFC, Sofia will contribute in particular to :
– Producing, analysing and monitoring local economic information;
– Drawing up regional projects and socio-economic analyses.
Her experience and rigour will be invaluable assets in supporting regional dynamics in Bourgogne-Franche-Comté.
Karl Bournat has joined the Innovation and Research division as Innovation Project Manager.
Having just graduated with a Master’s degree in Management and Innovation in Biotechnology (MIB), Karl worked as a project manager during his studies and led the creation of a fictitious company developing an innovative medical device. During his end-of-studies placement at Eseo Dijon, Karl developed his skills in a variety of areas, including e-health, lean management, 3D printing and event organisation.
At AER BFC, Karl’s remit is to identify and support innovation projects with regional businesses, promote business-research partnerships, run and publicise the Regional Innovation Network (RRI) and take part in all the missions of the Innovation and Research Cluster, including the organisation of events.
A passion? Karl is passionate about classical guitar, which he has been playing since childhood.
We’re convinced that Karl’s skills will be an invaluable asset for our innovation support missions.
