The AERBFC was present on Wednesday 5 April at the steering committee of the Automotive Change Task Force – FIMA with Anne-Gaëlle ARBEZ, Coordinator of the Economic Development Pole.
Automotive Change Task Force
The FIMA mechanism concerns the Force d’Intervention pour la Mutations des Industries Automobiles, which was created in France to support the transformation of the automotive sector towards cleaner modes of propulsion, in particular electrification. FIMA is managed by the Plateforme Automobile (PFA), an organisation that brings together the players in the automotive industry in France.
FIMA’s mission is to identify the needs in terms of skills and investments required to support the transformation of the automotive industry, as well as to help companies access the public funding available to support their transformation projects. It works in close collaboration with companies in the sector, public players and social partners.
The FIMA is a mechanism in which the AER BFC is very active alongside the teams of the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté Region and the State.
23 missions of investments
Created a year ago, the Automotive Change Task Force – FIMA – has already met with 145 companies and has identified 23 million euros of investments made by the industry to switch from diesel to electric or make other changes.
