Based in La Roche-sur-Yon (85), Groupe Atlantic, a global leader in thermal comfort solutions, is expanding its industrial footprint in France. With over 29 sites across the country, the company is embarking on a significant project: the establishment of a new heat pump manufacturing site. This initiative aligns perfectly with one of France’s major priorities: the relocation of industry, especially in the field of decarbonized energy production.

Establishment in Chalon-sur-Saône: An Investment of €150 Million

The group will invest no less than €150 million to establish this innovative site on the Saônor grounds in Chalon-sur-Saône. This ambitious project, set to be operational by October 2025, promises an annual production of 180,000 units. Moreover, this initiative will create 300 jobs within the next three years, thereby strengthening the local economic fabric. Chalon-sur-Saône will thus become Groupe Atlantic’s third industrial site in eastern France.

Active Support from the Regional Economic Agency of Bourgogne-Franche-Comté

To materialize this large-scale project, Groupe Atlantic received top-notch support from the Regional Economic Agency of Bourgogne-Franche-Comté (AER BFC). The agency conducts a series of prospecting and promotional activities aimed at attracting investors to the region. It deploys innovative strategies, including its presence at renowned exhibitions such as the Forum Hydrogen For Climate and SIMI in Paris.

AER BFC also relies on targeted international prospecting missions, exploring key markets such as the United States, Japan, and Germany, in collaboration with Business France. Additionally, the agency capitalizes on the opportunities offered by digital prospecting to establish fruitful contacts with innovative companies, akin to Groupe Atlantic.

As a privileged partner, AER BFC facilitated communication between Groupe Atlantic and the pre-selected territories. It also acted as an intermediary with various regional services, including the SME development and training service, ensuring optimal financial and operational support for this large-scale project.

This successful partnership between Groupe Atlantic and AER BFC demonstrates a shared commitment to sustainable industrial development in France, further enhancing our country’s position as a global leader in thermal comfort solutions.
