The Bourgogne-Franche-Comté Region and its Regional Economic Agency (AER BFC), the Creusot Montceau Urban Community, celebrate the strategic establishment in Creusot, Bourgogne-Franche-Comté, of the new site of the MCGP Group, which they have supported for several months in this strategic phase of its development. This new Manufacture, is part of an ambitious vision of sustainable and social growth, in line with its values of excellence and responsibility.

New manufacture in Creusot, a new strategic milestone

The family-owned MCGP Group, founded in 2004, is taking a new strategic step with the announcement of the establishment of a new manufacture in the Creusot area, in Bourgogne-Franche-Comté. This decision reflects MCGP’s ongoing commitment to local economic development and the promotion of French artisanal excellence.

The new manufacture, which will be operational by the first quarter of 2026, will ultimately cover an area of about 8000 m² and will employ nearly 350 people in the long term. The project was taken over in spring 2023 by the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté Regional Economic Agency, at the request of the MCGP group. The objective was to find the best location for installing a new manufacture that meets a very strict specification, taking into account specific criteria such as accessibility, land availability, and the employment area, which required the study of several potential sites offered to the MCGP group, which ultimately chose the territory of the CUCM. The Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region was identified as perfectly meeting these requirements, thanks to its potential for skilled labor, industrial excellence, and efficient and responsive ecosystem. Indeed, Bourgogne-Franche-Comté is the only French region that has developed recognized and innovative expertise in all areas of luxury. The region is among the few European territories that possess a true historical culture of the luxury sector.

“The opening of this new manufacture in Creusot marks an important milestone in the development of our group,” says Marie-Christine GROCQ-PARRUITTE, Founder and President of the MCGP Group. “We are convinced that Bourgogne-Franche-Comté offers an environment conducive to our growth, with its qualified employment basin and industrial dynamism.”

Over the past 20 years, the MCGP Group has established itself as a key player and a reference in the luxury ethical and social jewelry industry, thanks to an ambitious vision and a sustained growth strategy. Today, the family-owned and independent group continues to perpetuate traditional jewelry craftsmanship while incorporating the latest technological innovations.

Responsible Establishment: MCGP affirms its values and commitment to Excellence

This decision to establish is part of a responsible and sustainable approach, in line with the group’s fundamental values. MCGP is committed to promoting gender diversity in all its professions and to facilitating the transmission of excellence in craftsmanship, in particular through the establishment of a training center in the Magenta area from April 2024.

“We are firmly committed to our values of cooperation, trust, and boldness,” emphasizes Marie-Christine GROCQ-PARRUITTE. “This new manufacture embodies our desire to perpetuate our craftsmanship while contributing to the economic and social dynamism of the region.”

Recruitment has already started with the support of various organizations including the AGIRE association and France Travail in collaboration with the services of the Region and the Urban Community.
