Film Discussion: Éclaireurs, reinventing the world of work in the face of environmental challenges

To explore existing initiatives aimed at addressing this issue, the Regional Economic Agency (AER) and the Regional Agency for the Improvement of Working Conditions (Aract) of Bourgogne-Franche-Comté are pleased to invite you to an after-work event featuring a film screening and discussion of the movie “Éclaireurs,” directed by Arthur GOSSET and Hélène CLOÎTRE, on Monday, July 6, at 6:00 p.m., at the Amphitheater of the Maison Régionale de l’Innovation in Dijon (64 A rue Sully).
Film synopsis
When Hélène and Arthur go on vacation to Métabief (25) during the winter of 2022, they discover the resort is without snow. They quickly realize that tourists aren’t the only ones affected by this situation: the resort’s workers are as well, worried about the future of their jobs.
The two young filmmakers then embark on a groundbreaking three-year investigation to understand how the ecological crisis is disrupting the world of work.
Beyond ski resorts, they expand their investigation to other fields of work and meet the “Éclaireurs”: a business owner, a police officer, a construction worker, a saleswoman… They all share the same determination: to transform their professions to prepare them for a world in the midst of upheaval.
