OFER BFC honoured by Territoires Audacieux following its Territoria 2025 Award
Having been awarded the bronze medal at the 2025 Territoria Awards, the Regional Economic Land Observatory (OFER) of the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté Regional Economic Agency continues to attract national attention.
The media outlet Territoires Audacieux has devoted a full article to OFER and its role in understanding, managing and optimising regional economic land use. Through a joint interview with Arnaud Marthey, president of the AER BFC, and Yoann Dumon, the agency’s geomatics specialist and head of the observatory, the report examines the challenges facing local areas: efficient land use, reindustrialisation, economic attractiveness and anticipating the needs of businesses.
In particular, the article highlights OFER’s ability to provide detailed insights into regional economic sites, thereby helping local authorities to better guide their planning strategies, identify land that is genuinely available for development, and accelerate business relocation projects.
This media recognition echoes that achieved in 2025 with the bronze medal at the Prix Territoria awards, which recognised OFER’s innovative approach in support of public policy and regional economic development.
Developed by the AER BFC in partnership with the inter-municipal bodies of Bourgogne-Franche-Comté, OFER is now a key tool for sharing an up-to-date overview of regional economic land use and supporting local authorities in addressing the challenges of land-use efficiency and competitiveness.
We would like to thank Territoires Audacieux for this recognition, which highlights the day-to-day work of the AER BFC teams and all the partners who help to keep this observatory running.
