The Burgundy-Franche-Comté Region and the Regional Economic Agency of Burgundy-Franche-Comté showcase the region’s innovation at the Viva Technology trade fair

The Bourgogne-Franche-Comté Region and the Regional Economic Agency of Bourgogne-Franche-Comté (AER BFC) will be present at the Viva Technology Show in Paris, from May 22 to 25, alongside 12 regional start-ups. This participation illustrates the commitment of the region that highlights innovation and its innovative ecosystems.
A common regional stand
The Bourgogne-Franche-Comté Region and the AER BFC, along with 12 regional start-ups, will be present at a common pavilion to welcome visitors. Visit us at stand B27 (Hall 1) to discover our innovative projects and explore the regional ecosystem as well as the many opportunities offered by our territory. Marie-Guite DUFAY, President of the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté Region, will inaugurate the stand with her presence on May 22, the first day of this exhibition which is a great showcase for the 12 exhibiting regional start-ups:

A stand focused on technological innovation
Two other regional start-ups will be present at the stand to highlight one of their latest innovations. The start-up Blue Frog Robotics will present Buddy, a small interactive welcome robot that will charm visitors with its intelligence and friendliness. The start-up IntiReality will offer an immersive experience through augmented reality, providing visitors a discovery tour of the region’s living environment.
La French Tech BFC, French Tech capital of the year 2024
The presence of the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté Region at the Viva Technology Show, the largest European digital trade show, is part of the Regional Strategy for Economic Development, Innovation and Internationalization (SRDEII). Its goal is to position the region in the global competition and to internationally promote its expertise, especially in foodtech, healthtech, new mobilities, energy, as well as robotics and artificial intelligence.
The Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region, recognized as a fertile ground for technological innovations, stands out for exemplary collaboration between public and private actors. Its tech ecosystem today includes more than 400 start-ups and 1,200 establishments for approximately 20,000 jobs; assets that have earned the French Tech Bourgogne-Franche-Comté the designation of French Tech Capital of the year 2024.
This tech ecosystem, combined with a thriving industrial heritage, provides a favorable environment for the development of industrial start-ups.
