Job Description

The Regional Economic Agency (AER BFC) targets two main audiences: businesses and territories.

As part of the Agency’s Executive Committee, you will be responsible for a team of several individuals under the supervision of the General Director. Your mission will involve national and international prospecting for the Agency (Business France, prospecting organizations, etc.) and organizing trade shows. You will work closely with the Economic Development and Promotion teams, serving as a liaison for all national and international prospecting and promotion activities for the region.

Frequent travel throughout the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region, France, and internationally is expected.

The presented position is a great opportunity for motivated individuals who want to play a key role in the economic development of the region. You will join a dynamic and dedicated Executive team and work in a well-established and recognized Agency in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct prospecting activities in collaboration with Business France (as the main point of contact) and other prospecting organizations to promote the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region and encourage the establishment of new businesses.
  • Organize national and international trade shows to ensure international visibility for the region.
  • Facilitate the development and expansion of the partner and industry networks.
  • Welcome business delegations and foreign delegations.

Education/Experience

Minimum Bac+5 Master’s degree in international business from a reputable business school, preferably with prior experience.

Skills

  • Ability to organize national and international trade shows.
  • Strong propositional skills for prospecting actions and territory promotion.
  • Ability to lead technical and/or institutional meetings.
  • Capability to manage a budget.
  • Project-oriented work approach.
  • Proficiency in basic computer tools.
  • Fluent in English. Knowledge of another language is a plus.
  • Knowledge of web marketing.

  • Contract: Full-time permanent contract.
